Trying to put a photo on one of the topics, but doesn't work. Must be doing it wrong somewhere. Help! Please.

I used to have trouble but found you can't put anything larger than 500KB on.

Yes there's a 500KB limit - it all counts against my web account!

Slightly different problem.
How in fact do you post a photo here?
Does it have to be hosted, like an URL at another site?
Or can you load a photo (say from my hard drive) to be hosted within the forum please?

When you post a reply (or post a message), select the "Attachments" tab. This is below the main text edit box. At the moment mine says "Options".


This will upload an image (or attachment - eg a PDF).
You can include a URL image by using the Img tag (see the Img button) but be wary of the image sizes and the fact that many users will have smaller screens (eg. phones and tables). In other words don't include huge 1000px images it messes things up!
