Just thought I'd introduce myself to you all. I'm Steve (Rainchinchilla) and I have a great fascination of local history in the Hull area. I stumbled across the site and have so far spent around 2 hours absorbing all the fanstastic information and posts.
I am intending to research the H & BR and LNER with a view to building a model railway layout for my Grandson - Looks like I might have just found all the information I need!
What the...? How the ....? Chuffin brilliant site!!

Definately in Hull (born & bred). Haven't got a passport to leave and the escape tunnel keeps collapsing

Hi Steve,
If you're interested in Hull railways, you might want to have a look at (if you haven't already):
http://www.hull-rail.co.uk/
- Go into the Photo Collection and scroll down for the old photographs.
(I have no connection with the above site, other than as a viewer).
