Wagon Expert reqd

Chatting to one of my passengers todaym and noticed she had a wagon worksplate on the wall. Her husband has alzheimers(sp?) ans she said it would be nice if it wer passible to get a pictureof the typw of wagon it was
The plate is marked LNER 1947 and the number is 305863

Any info appreciated

Nothing obvious in Tatlow part 4a . Have you the weight and build location normally both shown on the plate ?

I will try and get a pic of it.might take a while as she isnt on a normal route, and i will have to call in when i next pass

305863 was from a batch (750) of 21T steel coal hoppers built to diagram 100 by Cravens - numbered 305452 - 306201.

Missed that :shock: , same wagon as new Hornby 20 (1) Ton Hopper .

Also one of the last vehicles built with an LNER worksplate.
