Hi J
No i didnt know he posted there different name?.
It appears a bit secret at the mo as i couldnt get him to state a maker for the kits and no one seems to have seen them at Warley either?? The other thing is a Coronation set maybe around soon as well? looks like the Mailcoach ones are going on ebay next year!!

cheers

I had a look at Warley and they look the Business. Had a chat with Peter and he seems like a nice guy.

The Sliver Jubilee coaches made by Mailcoach were only a limited run with all but two of the molds destroyed and one of these have got holes in the sides. The Coronation set is still in production but in the horrible clear sides.

You could still get a set of etches from me, and I believe that Rupert Brown may still do them

The latest edition of British Railway Modelling reports that MARC Models is the source of the Silver Jubilee coaches & that a built triplet dining set will be on their stand at the Peterborough show next weekend, where kits can be ordered & there may be some on sale there. Also Tony Wright will be reporting on building them in BRM in the next few months.

I have made a Mail Coach set of the SJ, the full 8 coach version, it isn't 100% accurate due to no-longer being in production, but not been a rivit counter that doesn't bother me. I made a few alterations to the kit, i.e. not using the bogie frames provided and 'kit bashing' Bachmann Thompson bogies instead

It looks the dogs dangles behind Silver Fox, especially when passing my brothers set of The Corination with Dominion of Newzeland on the front

Will upload some pics when I can remember photobucket details!

It goes without saying that they look a while lot better than my Hornby ex LMS versions

Sorry but the corridor conections are the wrong way around as the wide plate should be on the outside not in the inside only found out myself when looking at photos over the weekend.
