New Archive Gallery 'Steam Reflections'

Hi,

I'm currently uploading my collection of glass plate,medium format negatives and 35mm original slides to a brand new gallery called 'Steam Reflections' Uploaded so far are the GNR-LNER images up to 1949

I shall be working on the -BR(Easten Region) 1950-1966 images all next week followed by the LMS -GWR-SR sections after that. Please visit the gallery and if you can add/correct anything to the descriptions then please get in touch.

Second folder now uploaded British Railways Eastern Region-Kings Cross-Grantham. So far the images up to Hadley Wood have been uploaded but more to follow

I can only agree with the above post. They are some of the best photos of ER steam in the early 1960s that I have seen. Thanks very much Simon for sharing them with us.

Recent purchase from a deceased estate in the US. No information on the outer sleeve but I think the location is Oakleigh Park with the photographer standing in Barnet Tunnel.
