61673 Spirit of Sandringham

I don't know whether anyone on here is involved with or is a supporter of this project, but I received a newsletter last week.

I'm not a supporter or donor and I was wondering how they came to have my details.

That will be the old story of 'bought some data' most likely. Names and addresses of 'people known to have: bought a book on railways, travelled on a preserved railway, bought model railway product, in the last 20 years'. Worth a shot...

Incidentally 'Spirit of Sandringham' suggests 'gin' to me...

I am sorry to say it seems to be the norm for this society, of which once I was pleased to be associated with. However a myriad of circumstances made me resign,
It was and still appears to be run by one chap.who, despite asking for suggestions and assistance is still appearing to do 99% of the work. One good thing is that the website has been attended to after lying fallow for nearly two years.
If anybody would like more information, feel free to pm me,and Hatfield, that was my first reaction to the name as well
