F8s at Whitby

Post by markindurham »

Hi all. I'm looking for info on the F8s that were based at Whitby. I wonder if anyone knows how long they lasted there, & if any numbers, in both NER and LNER days, are known? Thanks in advance.

201, 418 present in 1920. Checked from 1 to 600 will post more later BTW you did me a favour as I found I had missed a Tweedmouth based loco an E class which is now going in to the collection as 304.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
