The old 'Railway Bishop' i had one of his railway book once many years ago which featured plenty of ex-LMS locos in it such as Duchesses, Scots, 5s, Jubilees, 8Fs, Jintys and BR(LMR)standards, yeah i reckon he was a LMS man at heart.

Very interesting.

Many years ago I was involved in cataloguing the Treacy collection. Whilst there were plenty of 35mm negatives, all were from around 1960 onwards. So the pre-war 35mm negatives, mentioned in the article, clearly became separated from the main body of his work, some time before his death.

As far as I am aware everything that was catalogued at Millbrook House is now at the NRM.

Sorry about this non railway item but just have to tell you guys, I once knocked The Bishop to the floor.

No I hadn't fallen out with him,

One Saturday afternoon I was throwing an guy out of my pub in Wakefield and he happened to be passing the door at that wrong moment, and as the guy was struggling I didn't have time to do anything but push him hard and he fell onto Eric who went down under him.

Sorry guys
