EXPO EM North and RMWebLive

Post by notascoobie »

I spent the weekend at a magnificent EXPO EM North at Urmston which featured one of the best line-ups I've ever seen. Sadly the organiser reported that numbers were slightly down on last year. Happily, it seems that the RMwebbb train set show didn't get as many as they'd hoped for and there is now some rightspeak on the other place suggesting that choosing last weekend for their show was not meant to affect EXPO EM North, which has been the same weekend for ever.

BCB won best layout.

I think that W*rne8s started off on Donny, which used to be a great local show. After the punt at EXPO North I guess I won't be going to any of their shows.

Model shows should be for modellers to help club funds and not for taking over by a business.

I don't post on the other place so thank you for allowing me my rant here.

Regards,

Vernon

Quite agree Vernon.
Mind EXPOEM was very tasty, a credit to its organisers.
Small additional increments are transformative.
