Liverpool Street to Enfield Town

Does anyone know which engine worked the last steam hauled train
from Liverpool Street to Enfield Town.
Ex fireman Enfield & Kings Cross.

Hello

I think the last train to work to Enfield Town was the J69 which is at the NRM.

But that would be the RCTS Railtour rather than a timetable service? I always think there is never any 'last worked train' on a line because there can always be another - unless of course the line is closed and lifted!

And, according to fellow members of the GERS, there was an evening parcels working from Enfield that continued to be steam-hauled (by an L1) until later in 1962, thus operating almost two years later than that Railtour.
