Green, Wet and Rusty......

Post by Blink Bonny »

Ay up!

I am the owner of a Hornby "Hogwarts Castle" - yes, I know, but at least the body looks about right.

Thing is, I'm looking for a suitable loco for the repaint. I am (dimly, not being a GWR fan) that there are different shapes to the inside cylinder casings plus different tender types so - can anyone help? I don't want to get involved in changing the cylinders and guff like that! I'd prefer an 84A engine but, again, any suggestions will be welcome.

And please, no 4lb hammers! I've thought of that one......
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!

Hi BB

Drop me an e-mail and we can chat about this. I probably can guide you a bit further.

I like the Green, Wet and Rusty bit. I bet you got it from some strange guy called Gary!!!!!!!
