Steam working in Teesside

Post by Sylvian Tennant »

Was there, at all, a steam working last night (10/02/2014) in or around Teesside approximately about 18:45?

I was on a dark path near Hartburn, (a very dark path there was next to no lights save the one son the path) and caught a glimpse of what looked like a plume of smoke a glint of a body and a bright light on the near-by railway under the bridge carrying the A66 near preston park.

I'm just curious as I cannot find any information on a work yesterday and I've heard stories of ghosts trains in and around that area. Though, it looked quite real to me (except it was very quiet!! )
