NYMR October photos

Post by ChrisBridges »

Hello
Just thought that some people might be interested in some of the pictures I took at the NYMR at the end of October.

Good to see Lambton No. 29 in steam :-)

Someone needs to make a 7mm kit of her - I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the comments, and I was thinking about making a lambton tank in 00 by kit bashing a wills tafe vale tank and a RT models lamptom cab. Even know it will not be acurate it will look similar!

Yes the Taff Vale 0-6-2Ts and the H&BR 0-6-2Ts seem to be the closest. One of the HBR classes was Kitson-built so should be very similar except for the cab.

I have yet to attempt to scratch build a loco. Perhaps that is an option, but where would we find the drawings?
