A Quick Visit To 60010 Shildon

A visit to Shildon at the w/e to have a look at progress on 60010 Dominion of Canada, bell in place, single chimney in progress of being fitted. Looked very bright like stainless but cannot see that really with stainless being so hard to work. The double chimney was on the floor before me but a little too big for the pocket or the wifes handbag!!!!!! Anyway from memory (cannot find record yet) the last time I saw 60010 was early November 1961 when it took us from Doncaster to Leeds hauling a mid afternoon Kings Cross- Leeds, never thought then it would be 52 years before I saw it again
