That story is simular to that Japanese driver that "Crashed his train into a block of flats" 4-5 years ago.

Turns out that sensationalism over-ruled the facts; apparently the cleaner accidentally started the train whilst cleaning.
Those forum members who are qualified 'motormen' might like to speculate on what safety interlocks or features could be so readily over-ridden?
