'Some' photographs from a recent trip to the superb collection at Crich - I can post more if of interest, these barely scratch the surface of the stunning collection they have there - including two LNER related Trams (and one works Trailer Tower Wagon), including the original GCR Grimsby and Immingham No 14 of 1915 and an ex-Gateshead Tram which went into Grimsby and Immingham service
London Transported E1 'Rehabilitated' Tram 1622 - amazing sound from the motors when going at speed, and it could certainly shift (felt very exciting from the top deck)!
London Transport 'Feltham' Tram 331
Blackpool 'Toastrack' 166
Glasgow Tram
Blackpool electric locomotive
Grimsby and Immingham Number 14 - http://www.lner.info/locos/Electric/immingham.shtml
Gateshead (then Grimsby and Immingham and numbered 20) Tram 5, identical to number 10 (Grimsby and Immingham Number 26) in service at Beamish, which itself is due to be repainted in BR Green as seen here
Blackpool Tram
London County Council 106, a typical Edwardian 'Dick Kerr' type Tram
Newcastle Bogie Tram 102
The splendid Leicester 76, with reversed stairs and open 'dignity flap' (the perforated holes - when open as seen here to aid driver version over his left shoulder, and closed for embarking and disembarking to preserve women's modesty, a fantastic little piece of Edwardian history)
Derby Tram No 1
Derby Tram No 2 going underneath Friargate Bridge in Derby - I used to live just beyond Friargate Bridge up until a few months ago, to the left of the image is the Great Northern Railway Station, and further left of the line were the large GNR Warehouse which is still there, derelict but rumours are they will be turned into flats - http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread ... 8-ARCHIVED
The 'Steam Fiend' - brilliant!
