GWR 2-8-0 at Brum Moor Street

Was in Brum on business today, when i crossed from New Street to Moor Street i was suprised to see a GWR 2-8-0 in one of the platforms. It hadnt turned a wheel for a while as is bright work was anything but and it carried no front number.
Any links or info on it?

Thanks BB, 52A sent that to me in a pm. I also travelled on whats supposed to be the worlds shortest branch line on a Parry People Mover AKA class 139 Stourbridge Jct to Stourbridge Town. Very strange journey, track that sounded like 60 foot lengths, tight curves and slow speed restrictions.
Im glad i did that bit of track bashing especially with the PPM ive wanted to sample one for ages.

Yes, a pretty fine station for an inner city location, especially compared to its larger neighbour, New St., a truly ghastly place. Last spring I travelled from Reading to Birmingham, en route Kidderminster for the SVR, and changed out of the unlovely Voyager at Banbury to await the Chiltern Railways DMU. That was also a pleasant surprise, quite comfortable, pleasant surroundings and a tea trolley passing along the train.

According to the latest issue of Railway Magazine, it is for sale; it is reported to be complete apart from cab fittings.
