I'm reasonably confident that both the ex-GE E4 and J69 were there.

Mallard was there as well. You could get onto the footplate and there was a light in the firebox.
The LB&SCR express loco Gladstone was an 0-4-2 tender locomotive with 6'6" driving wheels.

Ay up!
I always thought Gladstone was at the old York Railway Museum along with Stirling No 1, the two Atlantics, the Tennant 2-4-0, Long boiler 0-6-0 and, for some reason, City of Truro.
I could be mistaken....

Never liked that thing, it spent too many years on the turntable at York. I'm quite glad it's been stuffed away in Station hall now

Here's a picture I took in Sundon Cutting on the Midland the day the circus left town (a Saturday) - a special train ran one Saturday with Mallard, the Midland Compound, LSW Adams 4-4-0, the GE 2-4-0 and this little gem, amongst other items, en route from London to York. There were plenty of bods accompanying the exhibits, believe me

Is it the Q6 that's on the NYMR, Micky? Here's another picture of the same train I saw
