Well done Trev

Well up to standard. I particularly want photos of the Q6 which I've never seen working (in preservation). I'll get to the NYMR one day - and probably find it out of service

Hi BB
Yes, it was going rather slow, but it is a good gradient.

Hi Ian,
That seems the perfect excuse you need to come up here.

Hi Trev

I understand there is planned a Railfest, or some other name, for York next year. I Dont know the dates but my usual thing for such events is to attend the photographers preview. I certainly won't attend the event proper.

Plan is to attend NYMR at the same time. How that fits in with the plans of SWMBO remains to be seen. I haven't mentioned it yet - the later I mention it the less chance there is she will be able to fit her shifts around it.

Hi Ian,

It is the 2nd-10th June - a huge celebration of Britain's Railways.
Now you have no excuse not to sort things out in plenty of time.

Thanks Trev

However I will only attend if there is the usual 'Photographers Preview', I can't put up with the 'World and his Wife and Kids'. Yes, I'm a misery!!

Actually, the wife is less of a problem than the boss. I cannot book the time until next years holiday list is out, (I also want 3rd July for the P&O Parade of Ships in Southampton) and trying to book 'odd' days is a hell of a problem. Weeks fine, days problem. I might have to go to the rediculous lengths of booking as weeks and then cancelling the days I don't want.

Roll on Feb 2013 when I become an OAP
