Ay up!
Did you know 46115 was the first engine I ever cabbed? Haworth circa 1969 - I was three!
And don't 48151 look lovely with that patina of dirt?
Well done, BJ. Very well done!

Hi BB,
I saw 46115 regularly at Leeds in the fifties, when it was shedded at Longsight. The next time I bumped into it was at Dinting in the early seventies. The 8F was very common around our way, as it lived just about three miles down the road at Canklow.

Ay up!
A little known fact, this.
When 48151 was first overhauled, it was at a garage in Wakefield and I did a bit of priming on the tender frames!
The tender was clearly visible from the Dewsbury road as you went out of Wakefield towards, well, Dewsbury!
