Someone took these photos and has posed the question Where?
Has anyone any idea on the LS&SR
What does it stand for?
Could be anywhere.

A quick Google turned up the Londonderry, Seaham and Sunderland Railway, so maybe the photos are from somewhere on Wearside?

Scroll about half way down the page.

Hi Bryan the bridge is at Ryhope. If you head along the coast road from Sunderland to Seaham just before you pass the site of the road bridge at Ryhope station on the Murton line a rough track goes off left to the beach, under this bridge - actually 2 bridges, one on the LS&SR and one on the Murton (Durham & Sunderland) line. The bridge is in the centre of this plan
