Some of you in the UK may have seen this, and some of you expats will have heard of Eddie Stobart...well they have some of the Tesco contract in the UK and to ease congestion and save time, they have a train running goods up from Crick in the Midlands, to Glasgow.
See it at
http://www.wnxx.net/pix/mg/0609/66411/6 ... 0Sweet.htm it's quite nice acctually.
The first run was today.

Its a shame Stobart havent kept their green colour scheme on the locos, although, I suppose the blue matches the tesco wagons.

Yes, people mention the Blue, and the boys name, well a few years back, they were going to start doing it, and they had a series of paintings done, and one was of a class 37 in acctual stobart livery called Norman (after the first driver) and they said then that they would all get boys names.
Yes they are blue and named after boys....the trucks are green and named after girls!

All quite cunning marketing. I remember them trying to get people (kids) to start "Eddie Stobart" spotting in the 90s...
