'The Waverley' & 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' - 20th August

A couple of shots from what looked to be a promising day until the rain arrived shortly before the first of the two trains over the S&C this afternoon.

'The Cumbrian Mountain Express' hauled by LMS 5MT No.45305 seen near Shap Wells and Birkett Common.

'The Waverley' hauled by LMS 5MT No.44932 seen at Lunds Viaduct, Ais Gill Summit and leaving Hellifield.
