Lol. Everything seems to be a little LMS orientated at the moment up north... It doesn't look as though things are going to change either with the two Black 5's tomorrow, a Black 5 on the SSE next week and Lizzie on the remaining Scarborough Flyers.

I keep forgetting before posting on here it's an LNER forum...

It's railway chat, so keep on posting!
Did you take the Horbury picture from Addingford bridge looking towards Horbury Bridge? How it has changed!

Liked the 5MT at Ais Gill. Did my ears deceive me or did the engine have a couple of mini-slips as it came though the cutting?

It most certainly was taken off Addingford Bridge, I was quite surprised how much noise the engine was making after doing the location about 2 - 3 years ago now with 6233 which wasn't doing anything, I suppose it's luck of the draw with the signals on the approach to Wakefield etc...

Long grass + rain = total clothing disaster... I hadn't expected it to rain like that in the afternoon and my word I was soaked after walking across the moorland to get that shot.

I'm not sure about the slips; I didn't seem to think so... The beat of the engine echo's against something just after the bridge. What do other's think?

Simon.
