Three class D37s and a Scots Guardsman

Post by Brown Jack »

Hi,

Went for The Scarborough Spa today, everything seemed okay on the outward journey, then news came that Scots Guards had failed near Leeds. It came limping back 2 hours later, with some help. The photos can be seen here, if you would like a look.

Shame - I had to go to York today on the 8 o'clock down (for a WCML related meeting - don't ask!) and I saw it south of the station with the stock, looking fine.
It was a good journey for vintage stuff as just south of Fletton the Lancaster flew over at low height heading west.

I hope whatever the problem is isn't too serious - 46115 is an impressive machine.
