This is slightly similar to the steam dream thread. It's about what you'd like to see on a main-line tour. Doesn't have to be a currently steaming engine (though it might help).
I'd quite like to see LMS 6229 on a west coast tour, Euston to Glasgow. At the same time, we could put Sir Nigel Gresley on an East Coast Main Line tour...

The closest you will get is the 6233 leg of next years great briton railtour. But on the subject of railtours hows about 45407+45305 or 45321 over Settle Carlisle.
