Today's Google reminds us of the anniversary of Richard Trevithick. Cleverly done - have a look.

often wonder if after 240 years if he could have improved thing's ? .. just think Bullied and Threvithick working on Tornados and the P2's design and build !

Trevithick doing the cog-wheels and Bulleid the chains perhaps? Trevithick might have had a bit of trouble using a telephone and speaking in French to Andre Chapelon when he felt he needed a bit of advice though :) I don't think he was too good at keeping axle weights down either :(
