Another glorious day with the added bonus of 6201 passing the GC's doorstep!
First thing on today’s agenda was LMS No.6201 'Princess Elizabeth' with 'The Midlander' seen near Normanton on Soar.
The Great Central Railway was holding a fund raising event in aid of the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway. In service was 45160, 8624, 48305, 3850, 2807, 5542 & 47406. Full coverage is available on the 'Part 2: Spring Steam 2011' DVD.
