A great day out at the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway on the 21st February 2010.

I've uploaded a couple of clips with the rest to be available on the Winter DVD due for release at the weekend.

Is that a Brush type 2 lurking behind the signal box in your first photo'? Is it operational?

Yes, I think its TOPS no. is 47004. It is one of the Newton Heath Group's locos. It runs (I think) or is basically sound, though it has not seen much service as its steam heat boiler is "knackered". The last time I remember it running was at the [July] 2009 Diesel Gala.
