Road Rail and engineering work

I have spend alot of time recently watching Engineers working on all forms of work. Nothing much esle is happerning in the North West (March is normally quiet). It is realy interesting especially when you can watch an entire process, Like resleepering @ Lowgill (WCML) on the Down line. The work started on the Saturday and endend late Sunday. I cannot wait till work starts (and finishes of course) on the Settle Carlisle Viaducts and the Leven Viaduct on the Cumbrain Coast (work starts March 26th, stuff oready in Barrows small stabling yard). It should be realy good. If anyone finds themselves stuck for something to do and you can find out where the work is going on I can recomend going and watching for atleast an hour. At Low Gill we enjoyed filming the process that much we went back on the Sunday and filmed agian. The whole process (that took place in daylight) on film 87mins between 2 of us.
Must go now, got to plan where Iam going for the 8f (48151) on the Cumbrian Coast.
