Just seen elsewhere that the ex York Queen st 60ft turntable has been put up for sale by the Ribble Steam Railway.
Acquired and installed at the now closed Steamport Southport it was recovered and taken to Preston where it has now been declared surplus to requirements.

Pity the NYMR railway can't buy it.Put an end to all the tender first running.
Bring back Ferrybridge station!

I don't think there is anywhere at Grosmont that it could be sited, possibly in the car park at Whitby though.
