Fascinating film.
Some film of the canal under construction was shown a number of years back on a C4 season.
I remember one bit being moving of the tip sidings by Loco and crane using a type of thimbling device that seemed to move along the rail with the crane. I have not been able to locate the clip again.
Was it a part of an extended version of this clip?
