I hope this service will be boycotted. I stopped using Norwich Union and will not deal with companies that take jobs from British workers and out source them in third world countries where the only object is to make more profit for the parent company.
I cant see the average Indian worker knowing the difference between Aberystwyth & Alnmouth so this will only slow down what in my opinion has become a poor service.

Why does this not surprise me? Anything to save a few quid here and there. It will be a complete disaster. It is a specialised job which takes training. That may sound strange to Joe Public but railway geography can be complicated. Then again, they won't be looking at a good old fashioned timetable but a computer screen so that won't matter. Another reason why the railways in Britain are going down the drain (and I don't mean Waterloo - Bank!). Thank goodness I don't have to use them.

Welcome to the global economy. Virtually every country in the world outsources labour and I'd wager that a huge percentage of products we now use, from food to cars to, well, anything, have some degree of foreign content. Nobody on the planet is exempt, that's just the way it is, I'm afraid.

You know this very website is physically hosted in Pittsburgh, and a lot of the artwork was done in India...
(my usual graphic designer is in Moldavia but he was busy at the time)

I agree with 52D, fortunately I will not need to use this probably low quality service. I did bank with a company for many years that moved work to India, so I left. I was in a taxi in Aberdeen a while ago and the driver told his story of ringing a directory enquiries number. He asked for a Stonehaven number, the reply, in a very Indian accent was, "where Stonehaven?", the driver replied "Scotland". Next reply was "where Scotland". I will not repeat here the driver's response, but you can well imagine!
