i see that d.b have nearly reached agreement to run their own high speed trains from germany through to london via the channel tunnel when the franchise for continental railways comes up for review,what a oppertunity was lost by selling all the continental rolling stock. this will also include the running of freight trains.

I was talking to a driver at work yesterday,wearing a brand new EWS shirt."Shouldn't that be a DB shirt?" i asked."Took me two years to get this" he said!Apparently the staff are glad to be taken over by DB.Time will tell.
