No doubt some of you will already know about the superb photographs of Bob Lumley, but for those who don't, I can recommend this site:

Excellent, especially the references to TPOs - ditched because, somebody said, 'they were a Victorian idea' - perhaps that's why my one delivery a day now comes about 2 p.m. ha ha

Bring back the postals!
A topper is proper if the train's a non-stopper!

I second the chap aboves comments as my mail reaches me at about the same time
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
