From my previous posting on "A rainy day at Biggleswade in 1970" I was wondering how the signalling worked between Huntingdon North no.1 and Huntingdon north no.2 boxes with regards to the 'turn in' route off of the Down fast line south of Huntingdon station that was controlled by Huntingdon North no.1 because the 'turn in' home signal that was carried on a left-hand doll (post) on a tall bracket post signal which also carried the Down fast line home signal for Huntingdon North no.1 and the Down fast line distant signal for Huntingdon North no.2 for some reason no distant signal was provided beneath the Down fast to Down slow line 'turn in' route for Huntingdon North no.2?.
This particular tall bracket post signal that carried Huntingdon North no.1s Down fast line & Down fast to Down slow line home signals and also Huntingdon North no.2s Down fast line distant signal was unusually situated between the Down fast & Up fast lines so any trains approaching Huntingdon from the south along the Down fast line these signals were on the right-hand side and slightly more to the right of the Down fast line than normal.
