Went to the GC to have a ride on the 8F, to my surprise they had put a fire in Witherslack Hall.

Nice photos, as usual.
Your mystery shot, I believe is the power bogie of the NER auto coach. I'm sure that someone more knowledgeable on the subject can expand on this.

Yes power bogie for the autocar, I did remark a couple of years ago that one may get the chance to spy it running like one of the old HGV chassis/cabs you used to see being delivered to body manufacturers.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
