He had been battling cancer as many will now for a couple of years, and had beaten the odds up to just a few weeks ago. For ever 60007 will be associated with him, and it is remarkable that even up to last month, though clearly unwell, He was still regularly at Grosmont looking after his beloved engine. A good friend and one of NYMR’s real characters
