Hello all, I would like a little guidance on the train formations of the Yorkshire Pullman and Queen of the Scots did they have a Brake Coach in the formation? My research on T'interweb seem to show only Parlour and Kitchen cars in the rake.
Please advise?

I am sure that someone will give you chapter and verse, but from memory they had Pullman Brake Parlour Thirds at each end and sometimes an LNER BG on one end as well.

The Yorkshire Pullman had three portions.
In the Down direction a Pullman Brake Third (12 wheels) was immediately behind the loco in the Leeds and Harrogate section.
The Halifax section of two carriages included A Pullman Brake First, again 12 wheels.
These carriages appear in the September 1935 Carriage working book, and also in the summer 1938 book.
The Hull portion of 2 carriages had a North Eastern brake van added to it at Doncaster, with luggage transferred from the Halifax Brake First. In 1935 this was a bogie van, in 1938 a 6-wheel van.
The Queen of Scots had a Pullman Brake Third at each end, in the carriage books noted above.
