Im normally sympathetic towards Greenpeace but this is foolhardy, good job it wasn't the ECML.

They did the same sort of thing on a train load of Coal bound for Drax(I think) some months ago.
Shoveled Coal all over the track , made a right mess.

I agree with 52D in total,lets just see what the Magistrates say when these people are in court.

Didn't the ones at Drax get sentenced then wasn't it later either reduced or quashed

Last year at about this time the local Greenpeace mountaineers stormed the St Jakob Stadium during the Champions League match FC Basel v Schalke 04 - Schalke 04 are sponsored by Gasprom. They came over the top of the main stand, a drop of around 20 - 30 m and abseiled with a large banner. Stopped the game for 15 minutes. http://www.theguardian.com/football/vid ... alke-video. You have to admit whether coal trains or football stadiums, these are committed people - but do they also drive cars and like it cozy in winter?

I see that Liverpool are sponsored by Standard Chartered this year, so maybe we will safe on Wednesday - or are Occupy going to do the same? Still, the Big Biter has also moved on, so nothing to fear from that quarter.

Think you are right something to do with an undercover Police office working with the group and mistakes by the Crown prosecution service, the convictions termed unsafe .
