OMD Sarah Siddons

Post by richard »

Okay, I'm nearly a year late, but there's No.12 Sarah Siddons on an OMD music video from their recent album:

Why? The clue is in the track's title: "Metroland".

Unfortunately what should have probably been an LNER H2 is actually a black Pannier Tank...

Quite an enjoyable video. I like how they've based the pannier tank a Hornby/Bachmann model as it sports a "tension lock" coupling, equally the steam engine morphing into the electric No12 Sarah Siddons. When you move on there are quite a number of positive responces there too.

P.S. of course London Transport as successors to the Metropoliton bought Panniers secondhand off British Railways.........

re. LT Panniers: True but the chronology is wrong. :-)

There are other 'issues' - like the cylinders aren't quartered, but this is clearly for rhythm / artistic purposes.
