The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway on the 11th January 2014 featuring the first passenger services of recently overhauled USA S160 No.5820 and LMS 4F No.43924.

Good to see the loco working again.

Shame it's got historically incorrect British Railways number/crest - if they wanted to make up a new number/livery why not put in K&WVRY livery?

Three's another thread from autumn when it was steamed at an event weekend.

The livery is only temporary, and is believed to be a deliberate dig at those who are quick to complain but never donate money or time!

Personally I think it looks rather smart in BR black, and I'll have to admit that if one was ever produced in N scale, I'd have to repaint it in LNER Wartime Black :-)

I also understood BR black was a "dig", hence suggestion to put it in orange/black K&WVRPS livery!! Like most people I can't support every loco appeal.
