Railworks downloads

Post by Sylvian Tennant »

Hello chaps

Does anyone play Railworks trainsim?

I've been having a problem with a download. I bought the BR Standard 2MT last night and I've been having a bit of an issue with it.

Firstly, once I've bought it I tried to upload it to my train sim, but the upload button once I had bought it wouldn't work so I clicked off my steam account and run the game, now I have the 2MT app which won't open when I click on it and the upload button on steam isn't there anymore either.

This is slightly frustrating...

I take it you have purchased the BR 2mt on steam. Firstly do you have railworks (now train simulator 2013) installed and updated through steam to the latest version? because the add-on should download as part of train simulator 2013 not as a separate app. The content should then be there when you open the main simulator. If it isn't firstly clear the cache by going from the games main menu>game settings> tools and click on clear cache the app will quit and should restart if it fails to restart open the simulator again. Your content should be there. if that doesn't work open steam go to your library and right click train simulator 2013 then click properties. go to the local files tab and click verify integrity of game cache. this should and take a while and it should download some files at the end, if it quickly goes to 100% and doesn't download anything repeat this step again. Once this is done open the simulator and clear the cache again the reopen the simulator and your content should be there.
