great shots, really good to see an austerity feature on a preserved railway like the GCR. I wonder how many preserved lines owe their existance to the proliferation of ex indsustrial Austerity's and they now quielty ignore them for not being authentic ex-BR locos. Sorry nearly got on my soap box there.... I put it down to a lack of Yorkshire.

Thanks again.

Hi Trev

Your time was very gainfully employed, a very nice collection, as usual. I'll get to the GCR eventually!!!

Has the 04 been repainted into GCR livery yet?

Not yet, but I believe they are getting the numbers and letters ready.

The event was billed as the last chance to see the O4 in BR livery, have to say I'm very much looking forward to seeing it in pre-grouping (especially as it would make a good post for my blog!) livery, when I visited the GCR a couple of weeks ago it was at the the far end of the shed and so not viewable

It'll be the first GCR liveried loco at the GC since 506's ticket ran out.

I can't wait to see it :)
