Just found this on the BEEB website, good luck to all concerned, hope that Scotsman is ready in time.

The Ffestiniog are also carrying the torch.

I wonder if there are any other lines involved?

Snowdon Mountain Railway - it is cheating, surely someone should run up Snowdon with it!

Also one of the Manx lines has it.

There could well be 'elf 'n' safety problems. How many times has that lunatic driven his car UP Yr Wyddfa now? Could get knocked down....

it seems i will be making my way over towards york just to see flying scotsman reaching a nice speed but what a way for the worlds most famous locomotive to come back in style
