Yes, I saw this, I wondered if it was a protest or he was a bit 'Brahms'. Still, if it's a choice between ponies and bicycles, I'll take the pony, I get on rather better with them! Roll on the day when you can book a stall on the 10.47 to Garsdale and then hack back across the hills.

and humans...? Anyway, why stick to the roads, ponies are the original 4x4s...
A bit further south, here's a view from above Blea Moor tunnel, looking north into Dentdale, with Dent Head and Arten Gill viaducts visible. Nice view, but costs a bit in sweat.

The Coal Road - oh, for the days when I could walk from Dent to Garsdale. Or maybe the other way round...
