I cannot be certain of the true date as I only put York station down in my notes, but I do have a date two pages later in the book dated 6th May 1960 listing what passed through Driffield. I would guess it is in the Easter school holidays, more than likely a Saturday.

60700 worked a passenger from York to Doncaster towards the end of it's career. Worked a black 5 on the same turn a few weeks later and one of our workings to SNS we got relieved by an 8F. Have the dates in my diary which is in a safe place somewhere!
