ps. there was a plate layers hut at nethertown and above the beach at coulderton if you want to add them, I can tell you where they were if you need the info, the one at coulderton was damaged in the stong winds a couple of years ago and was removed, people remember seeing the track workers playing cards in it with the coal fire going....cosy
hi once again KLF, nearly finished St Bees board, next board will see the line enter Corkicle tunnel (modelers licence) under Tommlin (fiddle yard) compleete with caravan site and St Bees head compleete with trinity house. Then I might consider remaking the Nethertown bit on proper board and frame, as the card (base board) costruction was a daft bet with a modeler I met in the supermarket, you'll be suprized how strong and light box's are when glued together. The platelayers hut sounds interesting....... will pm photo of St Bees, well after all this is a LNER site !
