A what if?

Post by Autocar Publicity »

I was looking on the Net for something else, and came across this:

http://fictitiousliveries.fotopic.net/p26308269.html

in a thread musing about what the railways might look like if nationalisation (and privatisation) had not happened.

There's a few other fictitious liveries in the topic - enjoy!

now that is much nicer than the cheap looking silver that East Coast have gone for; I hope someone that matters has seen it!

I agree plain and not having go faster stripes etc makes a nice effect, pity about the numbering though.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

That was well worth spending a few minutes looking around.

One or two of them nearly made me spit out the coffee!

Good fun, whilst having a serious side to the subject.......

Now, where's me paintbrush......
TR Williamsons are going to be getting another order (if only....)

Looks like you had to be really quick on this one.

Just tried the http://fictitiousliveries.fotopic.net/p26308269.html link - - "No such photograph!" is fotopic's curt reply !

Hope it was just a glitch for Stevie, the links (both my original and your quoted one) were working a minute ago...

Hi

I discovered this site several years ago and always found it entertaining, sometimes thought provoking and sometimes just 'how the devil did he do that?'

Regrettably there has been nothing new on this site for several years now which is a great pity
