Sorry Hitchin I missed this one but I seen it now, Baby Deltic's sounded like no other diesel on BR, sound a bit like a souped up 6 cylinder petrol car, have they got that type two and a half working???
Also listened to the Deltic starting up,Ahhh memories of wet nights at the Cross

I wonder how much money and time it would take to re-create one? If Tornado was possible.............. and if engines already exist that are in working order or can be renovated, as Clarkson says, "how hard can it be"?
